ABOUT THE COMPANY.

This fantastic opportunity is to join a well established Building Services consultancy who have multiple offices Australia. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering quality projects for their repeat clientele.  Due to a solid project pipeline, they are seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to join their Canberra office. 

ABOUT THE POSITION.  

As a Hydraulic Engineer, you'll be hands on with design and with running projects. Also, You will be working closely a long side an experienced Principal Hydraulic & Fire Engineer and you will have the opportunity to take lead and ownership over your own projects. 

DUTIES.

  • Hydraulic services design and documentation
  • Site inspections and client meetings
  • Client and business stakeholder management responsibilities
  • Project management and coordination with other disciplines
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.  

  • Over 3 years of design experience in a consultancy or D+C contractor
  • Designers who can demonstrate key attributes in relation to mentoring, client liaison and project management will be also be considered
  • Well presented and good communication skills
  • Proven technical knowledge/understanding of relevant codes and standards 
  • Commercial awareness of the Building Services sector in Canberra is advantageous
