Equipment Assembly Field Service Fitter - Mackay
About the Role
We currently have several unique opportunities for experienced and capable Equipment Assembly Field Service Fitters, to join our Mackay Field Service Team, servicing our valued mining customers.
In this varied and independent role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Complete all aspects of machine assembly of all mining equipment
- Carryout commissioning and testing of equipment before machine release
- Provide outstanding customer service by ensuring our valued customers are kept well informed of all matters in relation to job progress and costs
- Ensure repairs are carried out using the appropriate control guidelines to ensure that rework does not occur
- Submit accurate documentation in the required timeframe
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Trade qualified Diesel Fitter with at least 3 years’ demonstrated experience
- Extensive caterpillar experience highly desirable
- Maintain a high level of workplace health and safety always
- Capable of working both in a team and autonomously, in varied environments
- Exceptional communication skills
- A desire to learn and continually improve, as well as the ability to think outside the square
- Ideally be currently residing in the local Mackay or closely surrounding areas
