With a deserved reputation of being a leading multi-disciplinary professional consultancy, manufacturing and project Management company, our client is at the forefront of the industry with clients nationally. As the newest member to the Project Engineering team you will be working with acoustical engineering offering clients a complete range of noise control products and services for commercial and industrial applications. This position requires a 360 approach to mechanical engineering.
The purpose of this position is to provide Design drafting of installations including enclosure, acoustic treatments, door and fuel generation systems. As well as some Project management from design, procurement of components, manufacture, installation and commissioning including items such as Gensets, Fuel Systems including pipework, underground pipework, Design of both day and bulk fuel tanks, Exhaust systems and Lagging solutions.
The position will involve managing projects end to end including oversight of the manufacturing process which is located in Melbourne.

Desired:
- 2 years' experience in an engineering and project management role (construction or mechanical industry preference)
- Design and development of acoustic room treatments and enclosures
- Experience in design, drafting and development of genset installations including fuel systems (mechanical)
- Project Management from design – drafting – manufacture – installation and commissioning.
- Mechanical background – preference for acoustical engineering background in sound attenuation, noise control, acoustic and fire doors and power generation systems
Required:
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- AutoCAD Drafting 2D experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
