We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Revit Modeller with a strong technical background to provide accurate and efficient design services for the Buildings & Infrastructure Business Unit in accordance with project times and budgets. Reporting to the Buildings Unit Manager, you will gain exposure to a wide range of projects and work with a team of professionals based in our Fortitude Valley office.

Cardno is committed to building on its current digital capabilities to deliver industry leading BIM solutions where disciplines and teams are able to collaborate easily and consistently within the firm and with our project partners.
 
Specifically your duties will include:

• Participation in project delivery and ensuring work output is of a high technical standard
• Completion of drawings/designs using Revit
• Completion of drafting documentation in accordance with procedures
• Development of plans, estimates, specifications, calculations and planning layouts
• Preparation of work plans and resource schedules for projects
• Provision of support to Project Managers and guidance to cadet staff

To be successful for this role you will possess:

• Advanced Diploma of Engineering (highly regarded though not essential)
• Demonstrated 10+ years within a drafting position
• A minimum of 5 years experience using Revit
• Exposure to a structural consulting environment is desired
• Knowledge in the use of other Autodesk products (highly regarded though not essential)
• Ability to manage your time effectively to ensure commercial deadlines are met
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• A commitment to quality and accuracy
