This business is one of Australia's most dynamic mid tier civil mining Construction companies operating at a national level. On the civil side they handle a broad range of projects including ground works earthworks as well as major roads, bridges, pipelines, bulk earthworks and the list goes on.
Projects range anywhere to $50M, incorporate road, bridge and rail upgrades for state & national governing bodies, their projects have a refreshing range giving a young ambitious Engineer greater exposure and responsibilities towards project management. To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering large to medium RMS, DTMR or Vic Roads projects with a civil contractor in similar conditions. While reporting directly into the Project manager, providing progress, financial and forecast reports across your area.
While reporting to a Senior Engineer your role will include:
- Contractual negotiations, Quality Assurance
- Project Engineer training
- Environment and Safety
- Liaising with Foremen, site staff and sub contractors
We are ideally looking for a Civil Engineer with 2 - 3 years post graduate experience in delivering medium sized civil projects in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to gain commercial experience delivering complete projects on time and under budget, while being mentored by senior management.
