Due to the ongoing growth of our Tier 2 civil construction company we are currently seeking an experienced engineering professional to join our successful team.

The position will be based in Brisbane, however travel to regional areas as projects dictate may be required. 

We currently have a position for a Project Engineer to join our team, you will be working very closely with the senior company management, Site Supervisors and engineering staff, to effectively manage & deliver projects up to $30M. This includes monitoring of cost & program, management of the client, management of all contractual aspects of administering the construction contract, management of subcontractors & suppliers, procurement and control and monitoring of safety and environment, in line with our company policies and procedures.

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of 10 years site experience within Australia
• Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
• Previous experience with Roads, Council Infrastructure, building civil works, Main Roads projects, Bulk Earthworks and Drainage, or Mining Civils
• Strong communication skills including written, oral and interpersonal, with the ability to interact with all external stakeholders and clients.
• Ability to plan, design, document and manage construction activities and progress, whilst Implementing& monitoring the project program
• The ability to ensure the project activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality, environmental and safety management systems
• Strong level of computer applications  including -  Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Project or P6, Expert Project
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
