Our client, a well known iconic company producing quality household goods have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their growing engineering group based in Central NSW.
Reporting to the Head of Group Engineering and Development you will be responsible for the development, management & execution of a raft of your own green & brown field projects as well as overseeing various engineering projects developed & undertaken by the other members within the engineering group.
Main Duties and responsibilities;
- Maintaining all financial & scheduling aspects of works to ensure allocated budgets & timeframes are strictly adhered to
- Develop design solutions to ensure compliance with scope, specifications & quality
- Ensure all commercial terms and agreements are understood and adhered to
- Liaise with the Group Engineering Manager and any other relevant stakeholders to provide appropriate feed back, project status, estimates and any other requirements
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and adhered to
- Taking on the Lead Project Engineering role within the group
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum 10 years in a Senior Mechanical Project Engineering role
- A formal Mechanical Engineering Qualification
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Previous experience in a food or FMCG related industry would be advantageous
- Experience with a variety of materials handling equipment (conveyors, augers, buckets, slats etc)
- Experience in a site based manufacturing environment
- Experienced in managing large capital projects
- Excellent experience with the Microsoft suite of products including MS Project
- To be able to communicate and influence required outcomes at all levels
- Excellent written, verbal & computer skillsDetail the qualifications and relevant experience required for the job.
