The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Director/Team Leader with experience in pumping stations and pipelines to join our Water Infrastructure team in Parramatta.  You will be joining a group with extensive experience and an industry-leading profile in this sector. This hands on role provides technical leadership, client management and project implementation expertise.
 
The primary responsibilities include:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to our clients
• Develop and grow GHD’s water business
• Marketing and winning proposals
• Job and project team management
• Successful design management and project management of small to medium size water infrastructure projects throughout NSW
• Provide leadership, guidance and coaching, and feedback on performance to Project Directors and Job Managers
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Plan and manage the resource allocation for jobs
• Complete projects to a high technical standard
• Deliver projects on time
• Work with other staff to get the job done and gain mutual satisfaction
• Initiating business development activities as they relate to water and other GHD service lines
• Lead and manage project teams delivering water infrastructure projects

About you

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Environmental) as a minimum
• Minimum 15 years experience in pumping stations and pipelines
• Project and team leadership
• Experience in marketing and business development with a demonstrated network of contacts
