This hands on role is based at our Brisbane facility. Reporting to the Regional MRT Manager your duties will include:

  • Day-to-day operations of the MRT team and provide MRT support to customers in Asia Pacific region. This includes the MRT events administration; export control clearance checks, quotation preparation, final invoice preparation and warranty claims etc.
  • Execute and certify maintenance tasks and defect rectifications on P&WC series engines.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness when performing inspections or maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinating with respective Engine Programs, Field Support Representatives (FSRs) and Customer First Center to provide on-site maintenance support and achieve minimum engine down time for customers.
  • Managing customer situations with good communication and technical skills to increase customers’ confidence in P&WC products.
  • Liaising with customers to arrange job schedules, MRT workscopes and payment.
  • Proactively contact customers to market MRT capabilities and identify potential opportunities for future business
  • Interfacing with various departments such as Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Engineering and Quality for successful MRT events deployment and completion.
  • Frequent travelling is required to customers’ facilities to work on engines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and activities to coordinate technical and commercial reviews in order to address opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in ACE, EH&S and Quality activities to support P&WC initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical), or equivalent trade qualification
  • Minimum 5 years aviation experience in maintenance of aircraft and has at least 2 years experience as a fully qualified trades person
  • Turbine engine inspection and repair experience including boroscope and hot section inspection level. PW100 heavy maintenance experience highly regarded
  • Position will suit a highly motivated self-starter
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
