Who You Are

You will be a self-motivated and highly skilled professional with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will have extensive Airworthiness experience along with an in-depth understanding of aircraft systems, their interfaces and operation, as well as general design, structures, aerodynamics and control.

What You Will Do  

Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, the position is offered on a full-time basis and will typically see you:

  • Ensuring that the CAMO complies with CASR 1998, the MOS Part 42 and the CAMO’s Exposition in relation to matters for which they are responsible
  • Working as part of a team to compile a detailed set of documentation to certify an aircraft formally for its intended use, imposing any necessary limitations
  • Carrying out airworthiness reviews and issuing airworthiness review certificates on all aircraft listed under the AOC
  • Continuously reviewing manuals to ensure that they are at the correct revision state
  • Conducting risk reviews of airworthiness risks within the roles area of responsibility when asked to

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management activities; or at least 2 years’ experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management activities, provided you hold or have held:
    • a maintenance certification licence in category B1, B2 or C; or
    • a licence that is equivalent to a licence in category B1, B2 or C
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to the airworthiness of DHC8, B200 and C208 aircraft
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to mantain effective relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or the ability to obtain
  • Ability to pass random and routine drug and alcohol screening for employment purposes

You must be eligible to live and work in Australia as either a citizen or hold the appropriate visa
