Your new company
Hays are partnered with a high profile international engineering firm based in Melbourne’s CBD.
You’ll join an established and positive team with a strong reputation in the industry who are working on a major rail project.
Your new role
You’ll be responsible for the development and update of technical maintenance documentation and procedures for the testing and commissioning of new rolling stock for the Melbourne network.
This will be a key aspect of delivering reliable and high quality rolling stock, while maximising performance and profitability.
Your role will include:
• Identification of technical risks
• Development of existing procedures to align with regulatory requirements
• Reviewing and converting existing Standard Operating Instructions through to approval
• Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the business and managing and co-ordinating technical input
What you'll need to succeed
• The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical writer/procedure writer role within an engineering environment.
• A strong technical mindset and excellent communication skill are a must.
• Experience within Rail/Rolling Stock is strongly preferred.
