About the Role
This is an exciting ongoing job opportunity to join the SprayLine Road Services. The Works Engineer position will work in the Line Marking Team to assist in the delivery of Line Marking, Bituminous Spray Sealing and Road Maintenance projects across Victoria.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Line Marking, the role will assist in the managing contracts and provide support for our highly skilled field workforce ensuring works are delivered to the highest quality, safety and environmental standards. The applicant will require excellent communication and team building skills and be required to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
The successful applicant will be based in Benalla but will be required to travel across the state to worksites as required.
The successful applicant will:
- Assist with the coordination, planning and scheduling of works relating to the delivery of various projects.
- Administer plant supply contracts.
- Support our field crews in the delivery of bituminous spray sealing and linemarking works.
- Liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Create an environment where teamwork, accountability and the customer are the focus of the team.
- Have strong knowledge of Safety management systems.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in the management of bituminous spray sealing, linemarking and/or civil construction and contracts.
- Solid project management experience, problem solving and time management skills.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills are essential,
- The ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with planning, and delivering projects will also be advantageous.
