ABOUT THE COMPANY.
My client is a highly respected, Building Services consultancy who have a strong presence in the Australian market. The firm has consistently been able to secure land mark projects throughout the east coast of Australia. Due to an increase in workload, the company now require an additional Mechanical Engineer to join their Canberra office.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Mechanical Engineer reporting to a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of your own projects. This position will allow you to be involved in all aspects of design through to coordination and project management. In this role, you will be working within a collaborative team who share ideas openly.
DUTIES.
- Mechanical services design on a diverse range of projects
- Liaise with multiple business stakeholders and clients
- Attend meetings and site inspections when required
- Individual work management to ensure deadlines are met
- Upwards of 2 years experience in the Building Services market
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
- Well presented and good verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude towards learning and development
- Candidates who have worked at a mechanical contractor will also be considered
