Quality Assured Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a Sydney based food manufacturer, who are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager – preferably with electrical tickets and related experience.
This role will allow for the smooth operation of all existing plant and equipment, which includes routine inspections of machinery, replacement and servicing of equipment, attending to breakdowns and undertaking preventative maintenance.
The ability to work within a small team, alongside a variety of personalities, and the desire to work towards best practice will see you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking operational/maintenance duties and tasks to ensure the effective operation of the production site
- Providing advice and guidance to the business on whether equipment is fit for purpose
- Development and implementation of policies, procedures and practices to promote a safety culture amongst the maintenance team
- Setting and monitoring of preventative maintenance schedules
- Monitoring and controlling spare parts replenishment and sourcing
- Effectively leading, developing and engaging a suitably qualified team to achieve desired business outcomes
- Re-engineering of processes to improve efficiency
- Working with a variety of machinery including; multivac, fillers and mechanical conveyors
To be successful you will possess the following:
- Trade qualification or higher
- Experience working within a food manufacturing environment
- Electrical licence or D licence (disconnect and reconnect)
- Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, PLC’s and electrics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally
- Proven experience in producing, analysing and presenting data
- Proven experience in effectively implementing and running a preventative maintenance schedule
