Career Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Draftsperson to join our Design team for a short-term project (approx. 3-4 weeks) with an immediate start.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Design Team Leader, you will be responsible for Solidworks modeling under the guidance of the Senior Draftsperson, as well as:

• Design, manufacture and develop 3D models for manufacturing and assembly purposes
• Design and detail drawings and modelling for structural steel fabrication.
• Liaise with Design Team, Engineers & Project Coordinators to collate key information to prepare draft.
• Analyse produce and/or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and/or methods.
• Provide technical input regarding manufacturing, or processing techniques, materials, properties, processes, advantages and limitations which may affect long range plant and product engineering planning.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ yrs experience in SolidWorks modeling
• Oil & Gas Industry related experience (desirable)
• Familiarisation with P&ID drawings, (Process Flow Diagrams) PFD, Piping Regulations, ANSI & AMSE Standards.

You must also be available to undertake pre-employment assessments and medical including Drug & Alcohol.
