About the opportunity:
We have an immediate opportunity for an Explosive Ordnance (Non-Guided) and/or Guided Weapons Engineer to join our team. Candidates can be located in either of the following locations;
• Brisbane/Ipswich;
• Canberra;
• Sydney/Penrith;
• Adelaide;
• Melbourne;
• Perth/Rockingham.
Other locations and remote working will also be considered.
What you will be involved in:
• Coordinating and managing technical outcomes within a professional engineering team;
• Safety and Suitability for Service (S3) and compliance activities;
• Development and review of engineering artefacts to comply with client needs using engineering systems;
• Providing specialist engineering consulting services to our clients in the areas of guided and/or non-guided weapons procurement;
• Weapons integration and system sustainment.
What we would like from you:
• Australian Citizen with a current or recently suspended AGSVA clearance - NV1 preferred;
• Experience with guided and/or non-guided weapons procurement, certification and/or integration activities;
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics/Electrical) or similar degree.
Highly regarded:
• Understanding of and interest in guided and/or non-guided weapons/munitions, ADF weapons technical regulatory framework, explosive ordnance, material management, technical management and EO/weapons related land, sea and air operations.
