Due to growth, we are currently looking for a Fire Safety Engineer to join our team on Melbourne. You will have the opportunity to work on some headline projects with an industry leading team.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
  

• Carry out assigned project and design work as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards;
• Undertake reports and engineering design and documentation for our current projects;
• Communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders, team members and peers, and;
• Work within a specialist team whilst coordinating with the broader multidisciplinary design teams.

  
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
  

• Bachelor of Engineering;
• 2 to 3+ years’ local experience on Australian building projects in line with the BCA/NCC;
• Developed technical skills pertaining to site audits and inspections coupled with ensuing FEB and FER’s;
• Exposure to dealing with local authorities, surveyors and other parties to efficiently deliver projects;
• Moderate-to-strong proficiency with relevant fire, smoke and egress modelling software;
• Effective communication and coordination skills with external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, and;
• Capacity to effectively handle competing priorities, prioritising work and meet tight deadlines.
