Due to growth, we are currently looking for a Fire Safety Engineer to join our team on Melbourne. You will have the opportunity to work on some headline projects with an industry leading team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carry out assigned project and design work as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards;
- Undertake reports and engineering design and documentation for our current projects;
- Communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders, team members and peers, and;
- Work within a specialist team whilst coordinating with the broader multidisciplinary design teams.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Bachelor of Engineering;
- 2 to 3+ years’ local experience on Australian building projects in line with the BCA/NCC;
- Developed technical skills pertaining to site audits and inspections coupled with ensuing FEB and FER’s;
- Exposure to dealing with local authorities, surveyors and other parties to efficiently deliver projects;
- Moderate-to-strong proficiency with relevant fire, smoke and egress modelling software;
- Effective communication and coordination skills with external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, and;
- Capacity to effectively handle competing priorities, prioritising work and meet tight deadlines.
