Due to an increased portfolio of work in the Cairns office, we require the expertise of a Civil Engineer to join our team. You will be involved in the detailed design of a wide range of industrial land development and civil infrastructure projects including industrial subdivisions, roads and drainage, municipal works and civil site works.
Some day to day responsibilities include:
• Preparation of calculations required for the design of engineering projects
• Planning studies, conceptual and detailed design of land development and or civil infrastructure projects
• Producing detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of medium to large sized engineering projects
• Assisting in marketing activities and preparation of fee submissions
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience:
• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering
• A minimum of 3 years in a consulting environment
• Knowledge and experience of relevant engineering codes, standards and practices
• A strong client focus and a willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing
