The Team & Role
GHD’s Geotechnical team comprises of 50 key professionals based in Sydney and regional NSW/ACT. Site work may be required for this role. As a Geotechnical specialist in the team you will be carrying out a variety of professional geotechnical service tasks inclusive but not limited to;
• Take responsibility for the geotechnical analysis and design on a range of projects, you will:
• Plan and undertake geotechnical field investigations, including across both regional and interstate locations;
• Analyse and prepare design calculations for engineering works
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with Internal & external stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and exceed client expectations
• Manage costs and resources to ensure work is achieved within budget
• Lead, develop and participate in multi-disciplinary teams
• Site work may be required for this role
About you
We are seeking a highly motivated person with;
• Well-developed interpersonal skills: A strong team player who builds rapport with both internal & external stakeholders
• Proven experience in analysis and design on a range of geotechnical projects;
• A focus on client service excellence
• The commitment to deliver high quality and technically robust project outcomes
• Ability to work under pressure to tight timeframes and within budgets
• Well-developed problem-solving skills, sound judgement and decisiveness
Qualifications
• Tertiary qualifications of a Bachelor of Engineering (Geotech) or higher
