The Role
Be Part of a team executing Control & Automation projects for a major green field mine project including but not limited to the Heavy Industries Sector. You will be part of highly skilled engineers in the execution of project delivery. This includes design implementation testing and customer –site commissioning. You will assist in driving strategic initiatives for projects team assisting with quoting design of control and automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Overview
• Provides updates to project manager and Engineering Team Leader pertaining to status of activities, KPIs
• Develops technical standards and procedures within the project context
• Contributes to project review process and gives technical guidance on project related matters
• Interact with various levels of organization on business related KPIs and issues
• Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants, etc.
• May be required to work on project cost estimates and review proposals prepared by Proposal Team
Key Candidate Requirements
- ControlLogix competency
- FTView competency
- PlantPAx experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of industrial networking (Cisco/Stratix)
- FactoryTalk Historian / OSI PI Historian
- Mining process knowledge
- Preferably based in Brisbane

The Offer
This is a three weeks on one week of FIFO role to north QLD. You will be working long hours when rostered but will be rewarded. With approximately $100 p/h which equates to $250k per year.
