ABOUT THIS ROLE
The successful applicant will be involved in a project like none other supporting Defence and government on a high-profile engineering program. This is an amazing opportunity to work on the full engineering lifecycle from initial design right through to manufacture. I am seeking a pro-active individual that is looking to build on their proven industry experience for one of the most cutting-edge projects in Australia, if not the globe.
This role will be suited for someone who is looking to have a significant impact on design, safety critical engineering, R&D and be a part of a dynamic engineering team of professionals. Your direct involvement will have a significant impact on the engineering outcomes for the project, through influencing design, making recommendations and providing your innovative ideas to other team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and development of electronic/electrical systems
- System integration and testing
- Ability to troubleshoot and rectify issues
- Undertake system requirement analysis and review
- Review technical documentation including drawings, designs, and design changes
- Provide technical reports identifying findings, conclusions, and proposing recommendations
- Maintaining fluid lines of communication
SKILLS & EXPERINECE NEEDED
- Tertiary qualifications in electronic and/or electrical engineering (or similar degree)
- Proven experience in hardware engineering discipline
- Previous Defence experience would be highly advantages
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience working within Safety Critical Environments
- Ability to work autonomously with a mature attitude
- Ability to think laterally
- Be a motivated individual who can work within a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must be ITAR compliant
- Candidates must be eligible for an NV1 clearance and be an Australian Citizen to apply
