The Role:
APTS are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based in our Tingalpa office. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your expertise as well as expand your knowledge in the Construction and commissioning sectors. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager QLD and must be able to confidently perform the following:
- Read and interpret P&ID’s, engineering and technical drawings
- Competently calculate pressure and force
- Take ownership and accountability for your tasks
- Establish good working relationships with clients
- Be adaptable with your working hours and location
- Demonstrate a high level of reliability and self motivation
Selection Criteria:
- Degree qualified as a Mechanical Engineer
- Knowledge and experience with AS2885 suite of standards
- Exposure and interest in the Oil and Gas piping sector
- Capability to write technical reports, procedures and specifications
- Excellent organisation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Solid works, Auto Cad, Navis Works desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Be adaptable with your working hours and location
