ABOUT THE COMPANY.

This highly regarded Building Services consultancy has been established in the Australian market for over 20 years. The firm is known for delivering iconic and large projects throughout the country and are well respected in their chosen markets. Due to ongoing growth, the Director is looking to hire a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer into the team. 

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will be exposed to all aspects of engineering including design, coordination, site inspections and client meetings . Your role will initially be design focused where you will be working closely with other Intermediate and Senior Engineers. You will have hands on training, mentorship and clear direction in this position. 

DUTIES.

• Designing HVAC systems for various building projects
• Conduct heat load calculations using camel
• Coordinate with other services and key stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal Engineers & Drafters
• Individual work management to ensure deadlines are met

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES. 

• Upwards of 2 years experience completing design in a Building Services consultancy or contractor
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Positive attitude towards learning and development
• Great communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to conduct design with limited supervision is preferred
