As a global business strategy, the Gladstone office is being heavily invested in. The pipeline of projects is growing rapidly, this role will contribute to the overall long-term success of the business. You will work on a variety of projects, some of which include: Coal ports, refineries, Smelters, Energy Station, Power Station’s and Defence projects.
Reporting to the Discipline Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Deliver projects for clients who own and operate large assets in the Resources and Manufacturing market sectors
- Build new relationships with clients through successful project delivery
- Grow and develop work pipeline through understanding and applying our where to play/how to win strategies
- Enhance current capability within South-East Queensland E, I&C team (Gladstone based) through industry experience
- Provide mentoring to junior engineers
An ideal candidate for this position should possess:
- 8+ years’ experience
- Have qualifications in a relevant technical field (Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical)
- Hold current RPEQ and CPeng
- Have experience with Operational Excellence, Asset Management, Condition monitoring, Plant Automation, HV and LV design experience
- Hazardous area classification, design and auditing experience will be highly regarded (EEHA
- Outstanding relationship and interpersonal skills, able to build networks and demonstrate role model collaboration skills
- Experience across the industries that our Client’s operate within eg; cement, grain and agriculture, oil and gas, minerals processing, water or manufacturing industries, including food and beverage
