Your New Company
Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplinary company renowned for their experience in project design. Nationally acclaimed, this company offers design solutions to the engineering and construction Industry with their unique concept to completion model.
Due to further expansion our client is now looking for a Senior Tekla or X-Steel designer/drawing office manager to joint their dynamic team
Your New Role
This role will see you managing a drawing office by checking and reviewing the design on all projects awarded to your department. Reporting directly to the Design Manager, you will be able to work autonomously or closely with your staff, delivering on time and within budget constraints.
You will be experienced in structural steel structures, pre-cast, tilt panel construction, multi-story constructions and the setting out of concrete slab and steel plans.
What you will need to succeed
The role aim of this role is to manage the day to day operations of the drawing office. As such we are looking for candidates who have strong operational and communication skills.
To be considered for this role you will be experienced in the use of Tekla or X-Steel and have an Advanced Diploma in civil/structural engineering as a minimum.
Exposure to a range of projects including residential, commercial and industrial would be classed as highly regarded. We would also be open to considering senior drafter who are looking to make the next step.
