We are currently experiencing significant growth within our Water team in Sydney and as such we are seeking to appoint a Drainage Engineer to join our NSW Infrastructure group. 

As an integral member of the team you will deliver a growing number of projects, focusing around the design of longitudinal and cross drainage, Water Sensitive Urban Design and storm water quality design.

As a valued member of our team, you will play an active hands-on role in a variety of significant infrastructure projects in Sydney and across NSW.

Key responsibilities in this role to include:

  • Transport infrastructure drainage design, in the form of longitudinal and cross drainage, servicing road/highway, rail and airport projects
  • WSUD and stormwater quality design
  • Working with colleagues from other disciplines to deliver on key projects

Skills Sought

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 4 to 10 years’ experience in drainage design
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in one or more of the following software packages in each category is desirable: Drainage Design (12d, DRAINS, CAD)
  • Proven ability to deliver appropriate engineering solutions within a specified time frame
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support inter-discipline relationships, client relationships, production of design reports and specialist investigative reports.

Knowledge of RMS drainage standards, and deliverables relating to drainage design (on both Design and Construction, and Design only projects) advantageous.
