SEQR Risk Professional- Fixed term opportunity for up to 12 months
- Leadership of promoting the application and compliance of risk and safety change management in the organisation
- Collaboration and support of SEQR professionals from NSW TrainLink and Sydney Trains
- Senior Service: An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant
This position will provide expert and specialist risk management and safety change advice to support achievement of risk management and safety change requirements and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
This role will have the opportunity to work with the Leadership Team and facilitate the implementation of all aspects of the Safety and Business Risk Register including: governance; data quality; and application of controls within the business.
This role will provide specialist risk management and safety assurance support and mentoring to line management and staff to develop their risk management competencies to enable them to deliver against their safety/risk accountabilities.
Conduct risk and safety change management activities and prepare associated deliverables arise from the business operations or changes.
The SEQR Risk Professional is responsible for promoting and adhering to the Public Sector Values of Integrity, Trust, Service and Accountability, and our Code of Conduct and manage business processes to ensure the proactive identification of risk and the review and improvement of systems designed to minimise or eliminate fraud and corruption.

Essential requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience and expertise in the application of system safety and risk management within a safety critical and complex environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
