The Company
Our client is a leading researcher and manufacturer of high quality appliances with excellent growth opportunities.
The Role
Process Engineer/Production Planner role
Monday to Friday - hours will vary. Location 20-30 min North of the CBD
• Hands on role
• Needs someone with a strong process/production engineering background that has also worked in a production planner role.
• Continuous improvement is a critical part of the role
• Other responsibilities as required
Skills & Experience
Essential
• Experience in a similar role performing above duties (at least 3 years)
• Relevant engineering experience
• Degree Qualified - Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Electronic/Electrical)
• This is a hands on role and requires a like minded candidate
• Needs to be adaptable, flexible and extraverted
• Someone wanting to take the next step in their career
• Attitude - strong drive and focused whilst being resilient
• Excellent communication & ability to work with all levels of staff
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Be physically fit, to access all areas of the plant.
Desirable
• Experience within manufacturing/plastics/press metals
• Lean Six Sigma training/qualifications
