Altro has been manufacturing transformers, electrical switchboards and equipment shelters for over 40 years. In addition to transformer manufacture, we also manufacture innovative solutions in power conditioning and solar power industries.
We provide high precision sheetmetal cutting and fabrication solutions for in-house and client components and projects. The equipment ranges from simple laser cutting to large transformer kiosks and shelters.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individual to join our team based in Campbellfield, Victoria. The successful candidate will work as part of the sheetmetal group to provide designs for internal and external components and large projects. We will also provide training in operation of CAM software to act as a backup operator for the laser, turret punch and presses.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Qualifications in either Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Experienced in design and 3D modelling using SolidWorks.
- Experience in sheetmetal design.
- Have experience in laser cutting and fabrication processes.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Have good organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Has sound computer skills and is familiar with MS Office.
- Ability to respond to a changing work environment.
Successful candidates will be asked to provide referee details and undergo a pre-employment Medical.
Must have Australian work rights.
