About the role:

Canberra Data Centres (CDC) provides and manages world class data centres for government and large corporates.

Following unprecedented growth, we are creating an exciting role for a highly organised, culturally sensitive Project Manager with high EQ on top of an established career of proven excellence in delivering electrical, communications and technology-based projects.

The ideal candidate will be a commercially focussed negotiator who is self-aware and can show excellent communication skills whilst demonstrating proficiency in key project controls and financials, reporting, impressive client management abilities and contractor supervision skills.

What we are looking for:

·       A personality and skill set able to seamlessly shift focus between strategic goals and ensuring the detail is properly addressed.

·       An ability to bring a large sub contract team together to deliver complex projects safely in tight timeframes for smart clients.

·       Expertise in coordinating clients with internal operations teams on project matters.

·       Robust, commercial acumen.

·       Management flair to inspire a trade contractor team of up to 30, including Electrical, HVAC and Fire trades of all level of experiences.

·       An understanding of bid management and estimating processes.

·       Experience in managing commercial and industrial projects.

·       A commitment to ensure that company and client procedures are performed.

·       Demonstrable successful track record of delivering commercial scale electrical, communications and technology projects with complex supply chains and varied skill sets.

·       Electrical or HVAC qualification or extensive experience planning, managing and commissioning projects involving Electrical, power generation fire and HVAC services.

MANDATORY-Australian Citizen with the existing NV1 Clearance or an ability to obtain a NV1 Security Clearance.

Salary package to be negotiated with the successful applicant, based on skills and experience.
