Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia Pty Ltd are currently seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to undertake maintenance work at our Essendon base to support our services to Ambulance Victoria operations.
 

Reporting to Ambulance Victoria’s Senior Engineer, this role is classified as a fixed base (Mon-Fri) position at our Essendon base and your primary accountabilities will include:

  • Providing structural support for our AW139 fleet in Victoria – included but not limited to: sheet metal, composites, and corrosion prevention, modifications, interior and exterior preservation
  • Assisting engineering as required
     

This position may require travel to other Babcock bases on a temporary basis and may require work on other fleet aircraft.


The successful candidate must have:

  • Trade qualified Aviation Structural Engineer
  • Aviation experience with known skills in composites, sheet metal and paint
  • The ability to work as part of a team with flexibility and a positive attitude
