Lendlease are currently delivering a number of major infrastructure projects throughout Australia including the M1/M3/Gateway merge. Delivered over the next two years, the upgrade will improve travel time, reliability and safety for the 148,000 vehicles that travel through this section of the Pacific Motorway daily.
To support the delivery of this vital piece of infrastructure upgrade, Lendlease are looking for a Project Engineer with previous experience working on roads/transport/civil infrastructure projects.
In this role your primary focus will be providing technical engineering support that ensures favourable commercial and quality outcomes. You will be involved in providing technical input for design and construction, managing and resolving the detailed design and procurement of design documentation. You will co-ordinate and supervise sub-contractors on site, ensuring that all relevant EHS and QA documentation has been completed in accordance with Lendlease procedures. You will assist in the development of short and medium range construction programs, monitor and report on construction progress and assist in verifying contractor progress and variation claims and payments.
To be successful in this role you will have the relevant roadworks, drainage, earthworks and landscaping experience across TMR/RMS projects. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, be able to develop and foster relationships with key stakeholders across the project both internally and externally and have excellent communications skill both verbally and written and finally you will be self-motivated, driven and capable of working autonomously.
