About the opportunity
Reporting to the National Workforce Productivity Manager, you will provide key inputs into the continuous improvement of business processes, produce plans that will realise opportunities for business and productivity improvement and support development of direct wages targets based on engineered standards that reflect business expectations.
This position is based at our support office in Norwest Business Park, Bella Vista.
In this role, you will:

Conduct work measurement studies, including data collection and analysis

Conduct process mapping, with input to standard operating procedure and process improvement

Conduct benchmarking performance and propose staffing efficiencies
-
Complete labour modelling to identify and validate process and productivity improvements
-
Assist in increase labour performance; develop recommendations and initiatives that generate long-term sustainable change
-
Perform work measurement to develop engineered standards that enable store specific staffing targets
-
Become trained and skilled in work measurement - MOST
-
Build and deliver simple tools and processes into stores to enable simple and effective control of wages, hours and overall productivity

Investigate, analyse and report on productivity issues / opportunities

Lead and own the end to end of the diagnostics and reviews
To be considered for this role you should have the following:
-
Degree qualified in Engineering (Industrial/systems preferred)

Good analytical, presentation, planning and organisational skills
-
Ideally you will have knowledge of Six-Sigma or Lean methodologies
-
Considerable skills in networking and influencing
-
Positive and confident manner with ability to confront and challenge resistance and issues
-
Change management experience preferred
-
High level communication skills with ability to influence and build rapport at all levels
-
Advanced skills in MS Office
