We are looking for a Compliance Manager to lead the way during a period of change of improving our visibility of Network compliance and standardising our approach to managing authorities.

Our Compliance Team act as the validation gateway for allowing employees and external service providers access to Jemena’s Networks and Asset.

The team monitors network compliance through audits and field inspections and where required undertake incident investigations.

Your role will be to provide leadership and manage the Network Accreditation and Compliance Team to ensure both regulatory and organisational compliance and competency are supported by quality outcomes.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver  a range of competency based training and assessment tools.
  • Develop and deliver  induction sessions for internal & external parties to enable Network access.
  • Manage and coordinate team members to enable the delivery of training and assessments.
  • Provide technical and regulatory support to operational groups and Asset Management committees.
  • Ensure connection and test procedures of customer installations are compliant with related Acts and Regulations.
  • Ensure allocated regulatory reporting is compliant with Regulatory Authority and Jemena.
  • Investigation of incidents and provision of detailed recommendations based on findings.

 What we’re looking for

  • Tertiary qualified in an Engineering or Technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering competency based training and assessment tools.
  • Desire to complete Certificate IV in Training and Assessment if not already accredited.
  • Demonstrated experience in auditing and  incident investigation.
  • Working knowledge of Australian Standards in the Utilities Industries. ie:(AS4645/AS5601/AS2885)
  • Well developed analytical ability and report writing skills.

The role will require working between multiple Jemena sites and interstate as required. The selected candidate will have a proven ability to effectively develop operational teams and manage de-centralised teams across states.
