Through growth our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced draftsperson to join this highly motivated team, that offers work life balance based in SE of Melbourne.
To be considered for the position, you need to be able to demonstrate the following:
Key Task & Responsibilities
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Diploma or Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience and design of conveyors and/or machinery
- Proven skills in AutoCAD, 3D, to generate detailed drawings ready for manufacture. Solidworks or Inventor would also be well regarded
- Experience in creating and maintaining drawings for components, assemblies and systems
- Work with sales & technical staff to generate custom design, conceptual layouts and costing
- Coordinate with sales, mechanical technicians, suppliers & clients, to manage the manufacturing & assembly processes & delivery
- Experience in equipment requirements for hygienic FMCG manufacturing environments
- Experience in workshops, machine shop environments
