Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Naeco – Defence and Aerospace
Naeco designs and manufactures advanced cooling systems for high power electronics used in the defence and aerospace sectors. We provide a range of precision engineering and ancillary services to leading Australian and international defence companies. Due to continual growth of the organisation, Naeco is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate mechanical engineer to join our team.
Your role:
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will form an integral part of the Naeco design team. Working alongside and reporting to a Senior Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding client design concepts and producing 3D CAD models/drawings;
- Communicating and engaging across a variety of projects as part of the design engineering team; and
- Updating technical engineering documents including data entry, arrangement of drawing files and testing procedures
Requirements:
- B. Eng (Mechanical, Thermal or Aerospace)
- Capacity to model and draft 3D SolidWorks
- Ambitious, hard-working and eager to learn
- Ability to show initiative and work unsupervised
- Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to communicate effectively within both a team environment and to international clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software
