ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This Local Council is a well-established, multidisciplinary organisation. This position focuses their project scope from a range of subdivision, drainage, roads, pavements as well as surveying projects. With an increase in project pipeline in the coming year ahead, there is an opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer who is confident in their designs and project management to join their team.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
This is a contract position based in the Western Sydney Region of NSW. You will be responsible for managing the hands on design, drafting and overall project management for your own projects. You will deliver various subdivisions, stormwater drainage and roads projects across NSW. In this position you will work alongside an established team of engineers and drafters, and will report directly to the Senior Engineer.
DUTIES.
- Take control of the entire project from start to finish
- Draft & design your own projects
- Liaise with local councils candidates and clients
- Design using AutoCAD and CivilCAD software
- Conduct site investigations and surveying duties
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Degree Qualifications in Engineering
- Proficient with AutoCAD, CivilCAD, & other related software
- Strong Design and Surveying experience
- Local Council experience is highly advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
