Hawker Pacific's team of aviation professionals deliver a diverse range of integrated aviation solutions. These include aircraft sales, aircraft support and management and aircraft supplies across Australia and New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East.
The successful candidate will support the Component Services Business, at our Coopers Plains facility. This role will suite a recently qualified Graduate Aeronautical Engineer providing technical support to operational, safety and compliance teams on aviation manufacturing and maintenance projects.
The successful candidate will gain knowledge and experience in the following:
- Review Original Equipment manufacturers (OEM) data, perform gap analysis and cost analysis on existing facilities, tooling, technical data and manpower
- Research and design tooling and test equipment where OEM equivalent is allowed
- Support Technical Coordinator to generate compliance worksheets
- Support purchasing and technical teams to buy and/or build special tooling and test equipment
- Review component OEM data to identify standard replacement parts for inclusion in company system Standard Replacement Parts (SRP) lists
- Support workshop team to /build tooling/test equipment including ensuring compliance with OEM specifications
- Support Technical Coordinator and provide relevant data for engineering orders to CASA Part 21 design organisations
- For One-Off Production Certificates, reverse engineer parts, generate drawings and models in Solid Works
- Provide engineering data to CASA Part 21 organisation
- Assist in submitting Damage Check Lists (DCL) for repairs outside of standard OEM data

- Tertiary qualification in Aeronautical Engineering (recent Graduate)
