Due to continued growth we have multiple positions available for experienced Systems Engineers | Security located at Macquarie Park or Garden Island, NSW.
The Systems Engineer | Security is required to provide requirements, design, verification and validation support to the assigned project, with a focus on the management and conduct of the security program.
The Systems Engineer will apply their complete understanding of technical theories and concepts to provide solutions to the current phase of the project, taking cognisance of cost and schedule constraints whilst ensuring adherence to processes set down by the Systems Engineering Discipline Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit / refine / document Requirements and create Verification Statements for requirements
- Perform Systems Analysis to derive function, performance, security and interface requirements to satisfy the system requirements,
- Perform System Design activities (including trade studies) to ensure that the system architecture is compatible with the baselined product and is consistent across all subsystems and that the system design will meet the system level performance and security requirements
- Develop and maintain system level architecture design documents as required
- Perform technical risk analysis as required with prime focus on identifying security risks and the identification, design and implementation of security controls to mitigate that risk
- Plan, document and execute Verification and Validation activities
Skills, Experiences and Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualification in relevant engineering discipline
- At least 4 years’ experience in an Engineering discipline including involvement in one or more of the following Engineering practices:
- Requirements Definition
- Requirements Management and Analysis
- Design, Verification and Validation
