The role:
Due to our global growth we are looking at hiring two Senior Electronics/Electrical Engineers to be part of our innovative, progressive and extremely talented team.
Reporting to the head of R&D the role is accountable for the design, validation and initial testing of new diverse technology products. Whilst the role is responsible and accountable, you won’t be unsupported as we work in a rapid collaborative team at the cutting edge.
Responsibilities:
- Designing PCBs for many different type of applications including biometric, retail, payment, industrial, logistics.
- PCB design with DFM and DFA concepts (Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly)
- Ability to read datasheets and schematics.
- Firmware development with C/C++
- Strong understanding of microprocessor hardware (32-bit ARM core, interrupts, power saving)
- Experience in communication protocol- USB, Bluetooth and Apple IAP
- Strong trouble-shooting and debugging skills.
- Lead the development of prototypes.
- Documentation of the design.
- Basic project management skills
- Chinese language skills would be an advantage
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (electrical, electronics, systems or similar)
- Proficient use of Altium software
- Hardware design experience
- Digital and analogue circuit knowledge
- Good understanding of firmware/software in embedded systems
- Good problem solving and debugging skills
- Experience leading and working in teams
- Calm, adaptable and collaborative team member.
