ACRWORLD are working with a tier 2 fit-out contractor that has a requirement for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team, focusing on delivering a wide portfolio of projects throughout the CBD. You will be expected to hit the ground running, getting heavily involved in a work winning capacity and managing a team of 10 -12 staff to successfully deliver projects. This is a rare opportunity to join a top tier contractor that rarely has openings in its senior team and can offer real career progression.  

With a client list including many of the most recognisable brands in Melbourne they have a reputation for delivering challenging projects on time and to cost. They are known to invest heavily in their staff and this has been a real driver in their success and recent project awards. 
  
Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with architecture & design teams from concept to completion to ensure successful delivery of clients original idea
• Produce procurement schedules and procure all materials in conjunction with Site Manager
• Produce design programme in conjunction with the design department
• Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety Plan
• Produce quality plan and ensure the correct standard is maintained throughout the project
• Attend weekly site meeting and issue weekly project report
• Provide formal project feedback

Essential requirements: 

• Proven track record in project management within the construction, fit-out, or refurbishment industry
• Minimum of 4yrs Contract Administration or Project Manager experience
• Current employment with a main contractor in Melbourne 
• 5+ years delivering high spec, high value projects within Australia
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to multi-task
• Self-motivation and a desire to succeed
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as under own initiative
• Eligible to work full time within Australia
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant subject beneficial
