• 12 - 14 Month Contract - Permanent Position

A project manager is sought to oversee the completion of our 12-14 month Grafton Correctional Centre Roofing and Cladding Build.

Working on site with dedicated Site Foremen and a C.A. your role is to deliver this multi million dollar project “on time” and “within budget” ensuring all deliverables are met in a timely and professional manner.   

Sydney or other non-local based persons are encouraged to apply although you will be expected to relocate to the Far North Coast for the duration of the project *

Duties:

• Liaising with various stake holders you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the on-site build (multi million dollar contract value); inc (but not limited to)
• Management of employees and sub-contractors
• Ensuring adherence to stringent OH&S protocols at all times.
• Liaising with various suppliers
• Working with the Head Contactor “John Holland” on a day-to-day basis ensuring their deliverables are met. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a busy on-site managerial position (PM or Senior CA) in the construction industry.
• A trade background is preferable however the role is administrative not construction related.
• A familiarity with Insulated Panel Roofing (Metecno/Kingspan) is desirable
• A familiarity with John Holland’s deliverables is highly preferable inc use of Aconex
• Strong communication skills, computer skills, with excellent verbal and written abilities are a must.

The successful applicant will be expected to start immediately.
