The Company
Our client has been established for nearly 100 years and has embarked on a number of new builds and refurbishments. They are located in the picturesque holiday destination near the Great Barrier Reef, a true jewel nestled amongst many islands.
The Opportunity
In this role you will be reporting to the QA Manager and you will be his eyes and ears on-site. You will be responsible for observing and managing the quality of work being done on site and producing daily reports.
You will be managing all the day-to-day site activities, coordinating a variety of trades and managing OH&S compliance.
About You
Due to the scale of this project, we’re looking for someone that has hands-on experience with large-scale projects.
You will need to be an experienced Site Manager or Site Supervisor and come from a commercial fit-out or refurb background. You will also need the following:
- Solid commercial construction experience
- Previous exposure to handling high specification construction projects
- A proven background successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
- Strong sub-contractor management skills.
- A working knowledge of current OH&S + QA requirements.
