Roof Rail Systems is an established company providing height safety solutions within the building and construction industry. We specialise in safety guard rail for commercial roofing. Our office based in the South East Suburbs but we secure work all over Metropolitan Melbourne. We strive to produce good quality workmanship, whilst working productively and always aiming to complete our projects in a timely manner. We build relationships with our customers to help secure ongoing work.
We are currently seeking the following;
Operations Manager
This is a hands on role where you will be in control of all the day to day operations of the business. Your duties will include but not limited to -
- Communicating with customers and coordinating the installation and dismantle of hand rail.
- Site inspections
- Keeping track on stock/inventory
- Organise vehicle and machine maintenance
- Work with Director to grow the business and obtain new customers
- Communicate clearly with Director and Finance Manger
- Prepare monthly invoicing
- Maintain all required paperwork
- Communicate with manufacturer of hand rail
- Adhere to OH&S Standards
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- White Card
- Certified Safe Work At Heights (An Advantage)
- Light Truck Licence (An Advantage)
- Experience in installation of handrail/scaffolding
- Supervising/Management experience
- Scaffolding Licence (An Advantage)
- EWP Licence over 11m (An Advantage)
Must be available to work between the hours of 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday and available to work some Saturdays if required.
Installers
This is a hands on role where you will be working along side the Operations Manager ensuring that our customer needs are met. Your duties will include but not limited to -
- Installing and dismantling of hand rail
- Communicating with our customers clearly
- Adhere to OH&S Standards
Requirements -
- Attention to detail
- White Card
- Certified Safe Work At Heights (An Advantage)
- Light Truck Licence (An Advantage
- Experience in installation of handrail/scaffolding (An Advantage)
- EWP Licence over 11m (An Advantage)
- Able to work in a team environment
- Take constructive criticism
- Good communication skills
- Willing to travel and work overtime
- Punctual, Reliable and trustworthy
- Driver's licence and reliable car
Must be available to work between the hours of 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday and available to work some Saturdays if required.
