ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A high-end and luxury, custom home Builder, with over 15 years industry experience. With an award winning portfolio of unique and prestige projects valued between $800K to $8M. This Builder is renowned for their luxury, bespoke, and architecturally designed homes with high quality of finishes. This company specialises in the construction, addition, renovation and extension of homes in Sydney's Eastern suburbs and North Shore.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Carpenter/Leading Hand, you will report to the Site Manager. You will commence from the start of a $5M knock/down rebuild of a residential home in Mosman. The project timeline is 14 months, with the opportunity to move onto another project, due to the strong pipeline in the works. You will be responsible for trades and contractors, as well as general site management. You will be trained and mentored into becoming a Supervisor, looking after your own site.
DUTIES.
- General first and second fix carpentry
- Read and interpret detailed site plans
- Program and schedule works
- Complete a fortnightly schedule
- Manage site safety and WHS
- Coordinate trades and subcontractors
- Implement the construction program
- Conduct inductions and tool box talks
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Previous experience as a on high-end residential homes
- Carpentry Trade is essential
- Track record of delivering end to end luxury home projects
- Ability to lead and coordinate site personnel
- Thorough understanding of WHS and site safety
- Excellent eye for detail and time management skills
