About the SOS Employment
SOS Employment have some great opportunities for experienced Operators and Labourers to be part of our work force. SOS specialises in providing labour to work on road infrastructure, sub-divisions, and general civil projects. As a leading agency, we offer opportunities with a variety of companies that provide safe working environments and short to medium to long-term work. There are number of projects scheduled to start over the coming weeks. These roles are based in the Adelaide metropolitan and surrounding areas.
Duties
As a self-starter with a solid work history in the civil construction industry you will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Pipe laying (mains water, storm water, sewer…)
- Construction labouring (working around services, spotting…)
- Assisting with levels and site marks outs
- Civil plant operation (excavator, skid steer, roller, loader, grader…)
- HR/HC truck driving (water carts, tippers…)
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must have at least one years recent and relevant experience on civil construction sites
- C class licence (HR highly desirable)
- White card (on-line is not accepted on most sites)
- Relevant plant tickets supported by experience (highly desirable)
- Reliable transport and reliable attendance
- A positive approach to safety and working in a team
- Advanced skill sets are highly desirable (supervisory, plan interpretation, final trim…)
