We are currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Estimator to join our Pre-construction team.

The Role

Based in our Head Office at Brisbane you will be responsible in estimating and tendering projects from $1M to $20M. 

Reporting to the General Manager - Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Coordinate estimate preparation, calculate / prepare quantities and compile proposals.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Review tender documents assessing scope, risks and tender complexity.
• Conduct site inspections for understanding, analysis of conditions and assessment of risk if necessary.
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients and subcontractors

Your Requirements

• Three (3) to five (5) years experience in the construction industry.
• The ability to produce Building Cost Estimates / Tender Submissions with a high degree of accuracy and success.
• Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and Estimating Software (e.g. BuildSoft).

• Ability to estimate from first principles.
