Yorke Consulting are currently recruiting for a client based in Brisbane and has a solid reputation in the hospitality and retail projects. They pride themselves on being an employer of choice and have exceptional staff retention within their business. 

Due to commencement of a project in Brisbane, our client are seeking a Junior Foreman to join their team. Experience with large refurbishments projects will be held in high regard. We are looking for the next foreman who has obtained their licence but is looking to take the next step in their career.

There will be components of demolition working over a number of stages and will require Structures experience but will also require Finishes experience to progress further in to the project to keep consistency within this project.

Key Requirements

Applicants will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in demolition, structures and finishes
• Experience on projects around $10M in value
• A relevant trade background or formal qualification in a construction related discipline
• A current Supervisors Licence
• Experience in subcontractor coordination and management
• OH&S and QA management and compliance
• Computer literacy skills
• High level communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
