An opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join our Victorian Land Development team, based in Epping.

This is a unique opportunity where you will gain hands on experience, and supported by a large HSEQ Team, which will set you up for the next step in your career growth.

Reporting directly to the Program Manager – Land Development, supported by the National HSEQ Manager and HSEQ Coordinator – Vic Engineering, you will work closely with project teams to provide coaching, support and advice. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Providing HSEQ leadership to field staff at an operational level;
• Assist in maintaining system certification (9001, 4801, 18001, 14001);
• Assisting in development and review of Work Packs (SWMS, ITPs, etc.) to ensure timely and quality completion;
• Implementing the inspection and quality assurance program;
• Overseeing the training needs requirements to ensure currency;
• Participating in incident investigations or emergency management as required;
• Managing and delivering reporting requirements.

What are we looking for?
You must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferable in a construction or high risk environment, as well as formal qualifications in Health and Safety, Environment or Quality Management. 

You will be self-confident, diligent, possess good verbal and written skills, and demonstrate family values.
