ABOUT THE COMPANY.

A long standing, reputable developer that has been in operation for over 40 years. This company has an excellent track record in delivering high-end, landmark residential and commercial projects valued from $20m to $500m. They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their supportive and high performing team.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Contracts Manager. you will work alongside the Senior Project Manager and report to the Director. You will be responsible for managing the contractual side of numerous stages to an upcoming project in Canberra. The project will involve high-end state of the art residential and commercial buildings over the course of several years.

DUTIES.

This position will include and not be limited to:
  • Administer all claims, variations, progress payments and contract correspondence
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting
  • Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes and lettings
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • At least 5 years' Contracts Administration experience, with a head contractor 
  • Significant head contractor experience in large scale multi-residential construction 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Building related tertiary qualifications are advantageous
